York Region Buyers: 89 Days on Market, You Have Time
Homes in York Region sold for about 98 cents for every dollar listed in September 2026. That means sellers accepted less than their asking price, on average. Buyers are gaining power. Prices dropped in most cities last month. Aurora saw the biggest drop, down 12.8 percent from the month before.
The market has more listings than sales right now. In September, there were 3,187 new listings but only 1,220 sales. That gap means you have more choices. Homes are sitting longer too, about 89 days on average. That is good news for buyers who want time to think and compare.
