Mississauga Buyers Gain Ground: Homes Sell 2.6% Below List
Homes in Mississauga are selling for about 97 cents on every dollar asked. That gap between asking price and sale price is good news for you as a buyer. Sellers listed homes at $998,328 on average but accepted $972,815. You have real room to negotiate. Sales also rose to 712 in July, up from 630 in June, which shows the market is active.
Homes are sitting on the market for 82 days on average. That means sellers wait almost three months to find a buyer. When sellers wait that long, they are often willing to talk on price. New listings coming to market dropped from 1,653 in June to 1,413 in July. Fewer new homes for sale can slowly shift power back to sellers, so now is a good time to move.
